Beiter to manage day-to-day operations, bookings at facility
Space Between in Lockport has announced that Michele Beiter is joining the facility’s team as director. In this role, Beiter will work with clients and customers as they look to reserve the space for their meetings, trainings and brainstorming sessions, as well as coordinate logistics of catering, excursion packages and other add-on needs.
As Space Between accepts more and more reservations from clients, Beiter’s role will be integral to managing client expectations and ensuring a well-run event for every guest. Beyond just the hands-on work of managing daily operations for Space Between, Beiter looks forward to also working to grow awareness of the facility and what it offers for businesses and organizations not just in Western New York, but beyond. As the only creative training and ideation workspace serving the region, Space Between offers a unique and distinctive approach to meeting space rentals, facilitator availability, modern technologies and convenient amenities.
Beiter’s background includes work with the management of workshops and professional event organization as the former owner and operator of Creative Essence, a hands-on creative studio that offers workshops and activities for business gatherings and social occasions. She also previously worked for a Fortune 500 construction company, serving as a sales representative for products sold to top firms along the East Coast. In addition to her background in business and event management, Beiter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business and marketing from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
